Basic Policy toward the protection of customer's personal information
Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. W.L.L. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") has established its own basic policy toward the protection of customer‘s Personal Information as explained below under its understanding that it is an important social liability of an enterprise to be compliant with Personal Information Protection Law in Qatar (hereinafter referred to as "PIP Law"). The Company shall handle any and all information pertaining to any customer's name, address, telephone number, E-mail address, etc. by which such customer can be identified (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information") in a proper manner.
1 : Obtaining Personal Information
The Company will, when obtaining any Personal Information, identify the purpose of use thereof and obtain it to the extent it becomes necessary and through a lawful and fair manner. When any customer should contact our "Customer Assistance Center", any communication are to be recorded in order to confirm the details. In addition, the Company has adopted a number displaying system so that the Company may return a call to such customer for a follow up if necessary.
2 : Handling of Personal Information
a. Usage within the purpose of use
We will never use any Personal Information obtained pursuant to Clause 1 hereto for any purpose beyond the purpose of use without obtaining a prior consent from the relevant customer. The Personal Information that the Company has obtained shall be used for the following purposes only;
When introducing in a commercial manner any and all goods, New Models, services, etc. that the Company provides.
When conducting a survey through questionnaire for enabling the Company to conduct planning, research and development, quality improvement and/or developing any measure to improve customer satisfaction.
When conducting planning, research and development, quality improvement and/or failure diagnosis.
For any other purposes identified when obtaining the relevant Personal Information.
When required to comply with any provisions in any applicable laws and regulations or follow any governmental notification and/or guidelines.
When the company has to share Personal Information of some customers with its dealers for any commercial or services related reasons.
The information shall be shared with the dealers with complete regard to the best interest of the customer, and in order to provide excellent services.
b. Provision of any Personal Information to any Third Party
The Company shall not share with any third party the personal information, in part or in whole, acquired pursuant to Clause 1 hereto without the prior consent of the customer. However Sub-clause a)5, a)6 and a)7 shall be excluded from this obligation, thus the Company shall have the right to share such information with any third party in the manner it deems appropriate for achieving the purpose of the use. In this case, the Company shall require that third party to handle the Personal Information according to provisions of the law.
c. Proper control of Personal Information
The Company shall take all necessary measures to prevent unauthorized use, loss, distraction, modification or leakage etc of any or all of the personal information. In order to achieve that, the company shall extensively and on regular basis train and raise the awareness of its employees, who are required to handle the personal information.
3 : Enquiries
Any customer may, by following the prescribed procedures of the Company, request the Company to disclose any and all Personal Informationwhich has been kept by the Company and belongs to such customer. Such customer is kindly requested to submit his request to the Customer Assistance Center. The latter will follow up the request, including cases where the customer requests to make any correction to, discontinue the use of and/or delete any Personal Information. In any event, any and all enquires or consultations from any customer shall be handled appropriately according to the provisions of PIP Law.

4 : Compliance with applicable laws and regulations and improvements
The Company commits to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Moreover, the Company shall follow any governmental directions related to using the Personal Information of its customers.
