Ending the long wait of Prado enthusiasts in Qatar, the 4th Generation Land Cruiser Prado was officially launched by AAB at a glittering function at the Dana Club on 9 November 2009. The Chief Guest at the event was His Excellency Yukio Kitazume, Ambassador of Japan to the State of Qatar. Mr. Hideo Suzuki, General Manager, Sales & Marketing Dept., Middle East & SW Asia Sales & Marketing Division, Toyota Motor Corporation was the Guest of Honour. Mr. Abdulrahman Abduljaleel Abdulghani, Vice-Chairman of AAB and Dr. Mohamed A. Al-Dorani, General Manager of AAB were also present on the occasion, besides sheikhs, VIP’s, diplomats, businessmen and other people from all walks of life.
The 1st Generation Prado was launched in Qatar in 1990. The 4th Generation Prado maintains outstanding drivability, reliability and basic functionality compared to the earlier generations – even under harshest driving conditions – while improving on the On-road and Off-road performance.
